About Me: Kerry Cox is a Seattle poet who spent 7 years in New Orleans writing and performing poetry. Her poems have been accepted for publication in Journeys and INK, and received Honorable Mention in Anthology magazine's annual poetry contest. Two of her poems are currently featured on the Washington Poet's Association website online whispers & [Shouts]. Kerry has self-published two of her own works: Rainbow Karma and A Month of Sundays. Ms. Cox is working on her latest book of poetry, Imagined Histories. In April 2007, Kerry traveled to Australia where she spent time in a studio with local musicians recording a CD of spoken word tracks to be included with the new book. Kerry is currently pursuing a career as a Poetry Therapist. In addition to her workshop Poetry as Medicine, she has facilitated Letters from Venus, a poetry workshop/open mic for women.
