Defunct Mountlake 9 Theatre in Mountlake Terrace to become home to the world's largest Cinnabon franchise!

Tha'ts right, you heard it hear first, the former Mountlake 9 Theatres will now be home to a ginormous Cinnabon store, capable of serving over 10,000 cinnamon rolls an hour!

Wait, wait.  Let me check that again.

Ohhhh, Cinebarre.  Hmmmmm.  That makes more sense, actually now that I think about it.

Ok, so the now defunct Mountlake 9 in  Mountlake Terrace will be home to a Cinebarre!

And what is a Cinebarre, you ask?

A Cinebarre is sit-down dinner cinema.   Or, a "theater that doubles as a restaurant so that moviegoers can enjoy a meal while watching a flick", according to Forbes.com.

According to their FAQ page: Cinebarre is an 18 and up establishment. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. No children under 6 years old are allowed except for designated shows with parent. Cinebarre caters to an adult clientele and strives to offer an entertaining and mature environment.

I'm fairly certain after reading through Cinebarre website that it will not be an "Adult Theatre" in the way that you are probably assuming (get your mind out of the gutter), but a place where you can combine your dining and theatre experience without, and I quote, "Snot nosed rugrats climbing the curtains and crying through the movie".

And, to be clear, I was not quoting their website, but merely myself.

Cinbarre

I live in lake Forest Park and I am extremely disappointed to learn that the neighborhood theatre is being converted into a movie/bar/restaurant. Most of us that live in the area have families (yes, and snot nosed rugrats) and now we can no longer take our kids and their friends to this theater forcing us to drive to Seattle or Lynnwood. What a shame and they didn’t even ask us first. Do we really need drinks and food while we watch a movie? Upset Soccer Mom
